Hosted by the Colts Running Club, this event is open to elementary (1st-5th), middle (6th-8th) and high school (9th-12th) athletes. Located in Oakland, TN (just minutes from Memphis) on 40-acres of private property with scenic views, the races will begin at 8:30 a.m.**Timing provided by Start2Finish Events**

RACE TIMES:
Varsity boys: 8:30 a.m.
Varsity girls: 9:15 a.m.
JV boys: 10:00 a.m.
JV girls: 10:45 a.m.
HS Unattached boys & girls: 1:30 p.m.
Middle school boys & girls (6th - 8th grade) combined 2-mile race: 2:15 p.m.
Elementary school boys & girls (1st - 5th) combined 1-mile race: 3:00 p.m.
PRICING PER RACE:
Varsity boys = $75 per team (9 or less)
Varsity girls = $75 per team (9 or less)
Varsity individual = $25
JV boys = $65 per team (unlimited)
JV girls = $65 per team (unlimited)

Middle school boys & girls = $50 per team (unlimited)

***COVID PREPAREDNESS PLAN***
This Covid-19 Preparedness Plan will outline and illustrate the rules and safety guidelines the Crossing Paths Invitational applies to everyone physically at the race venue, including race particpants, coaches, spectators, and volunteers. The protocol have been developed in order to protect the health of everyone involved.All attendees must follow these guidelines exactly. We ask anyone not willing to follow theguidelines to not attend the event.Additional guidelines and/or protocols may be added before raceday.
Guidelines
Before arrival:STAY HOMEif you have had any COVID19 related symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.STAY HOMEif you have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
General:All of the areas where Officials, Staff, and Volunteers are staged will allow for 6 feet of spacing. Family groups may not be larger than 6 people and must maintain 12 feet of distance from other attendees. All coaches must bring hand sanitizer and water (or other sealed drink bottles) for their team members. No water stations will be provided. Anyone yelling, cheering, singing, or speaking loudly, must be separated at least 12 feet apart. One official will be designated to have the responsibility for monitoring compliance with all aspects of this safety protocol. This will be their sole responsibility. All volunteers and race officials will be follow the direction of that official to aid in the proper implementation of the protocol.
Temperature Checks and Screening Questions:
Runners
Coaches or athletic trainers for each team will be required to take the temperature of each racer on the team before entering the property. If a person's temperature is above 100.4 degrees F, that individual will not be allowed on the course. Coaches or athletic trainers for each team will be required to ask each racer on the team the list of screening questions before entering the property. .If a personanswers yes to any one of the questions, that person will not be allowed to enter the park.
Screening Questions for Spectators
1. Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days? (Note: This does not apply to medical personnel, first responders, or other individuals who encounter COVID-19 as part of their professional or caregiving duties while wearing appropriate PPE.)
2. Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
3. Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
4. Have you had new loss of taste or smell?
If spectators answer "yes" to any of the above questions, they will not be permitted on the property.
Packet Pick-up
Coaches are required to pay race fees in advance of race day. Coaches will pick-up their team's packet one at a time at the Official's table. If a second coach approaches the table, they will be asked to return once the first coach has left the area. The volunteer distributing packets will use hand sanitizer regularly.
Team Staging
Each team will arrange it's team area so that it is no less than 20 feet from another team's area. Coaches must ensure that team members and any parents maintain a minimum of 6 feet of spacing in their team's area.
Start Line
Each race will limited to 100 racers. Teams will be called to the starting line 5 minutes before the race starts. Before this time, teams will not be allowed to congregate at the start line, but will be given warnings via loud speaker to gather as a team in preparation. Spacing of 6 feet between teams will occur at the starting line.
Finish Line
Runners will be encouraged to leave the finish line area as soon as possible after completion of their event. The finish line will be widened to 6 feet wide. Video and voice recording shall be used to provide for a limited contact finish.
Results and Awards
Results will be posted on TN.milesplit and will not be announced at the race. There will not be an awards ceremony. All athlestes will receive a "finisher" ribbon at the completion of the race.
Contact Tracing:
Race Officials have access to contact information for the coaches of all participating teams as well as contact information for all Officials and Volunteers. If anyone in the race tests positive for COVID-19 after the event, Officials will contact coaches whose team attended about the positive COVID-19 occurrence.Those coaches will notify team members and attendees about the positive COVID-19 occurrence.
First Aid Station:
~ Position First Aid Center near property residence
~ Staff First Aid Center with nurse practitioner and doctor
~ Signage placed at First Aid Center listing Covid-19 symptoms, directing guests not to enter if experiencing any symptoms, or if have not been fever free for 72 hours. Symptoms to be listed are: cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell
~ Sanitizingstations with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes
~Sanitizing stations outside all portable restrooms which will include hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and spray
~ Place hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray inside each portable restroom
~ NO USAGE of INDOOR RESTROOMS
