Meet Information

**AS OF AUGUST 27th, this meet has been postponed until tentatively Sat, Oct.17th.

I will be deleting all entries and will plan to re-open for registration on October 1st.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The current format would be 3 teams per wave (15 or 20 minutes apart). Random assigned waves or Seeded assigned waves to be determined later.

Teams are assigned designated arrival timeframe, individual roped parking area for parking & warmup, wave starting time, and a departure timeframe. For example, Teams A,B,C arrive to their parking area from 7:10-7:30am & remain in that space until 5 minutes before the gun time for their wave start at 8:00am, they finish in a wide corral until recovered & then immediately head back to their team designated parking area for final warm-down, and must depart from 9:15am-9:30am. Teams D,E,F arrive 7:30-7:50, gun time at 8:20am, depart 9:35am-9:50am....etc, etc.

Each team parking area would have its own port-a-john.

Currently, each team would be allowed 7 boys and 7 girls but we hope to increase that number to 10-14.

Only the athletes and 4-5 coaches per team will be allowed to go to the start line and be on the course. There would be no spectators...all others must remain at the team parking area. Each parking area would be large enough to hold a bus and 12 cars. If no bus is used, an additional 4 cars could be added. Warmups would take place within the team parking area.

EMAIL jimkaiser@mindspring.com for formal meet information documents and tentative course map/parking area map.

Also email or call 859-492-9990 with any questions.

Competition & awards would be wave based; however, after the conclusion of all waves, the results would be combined for a final overall score & result list.

At each wave guntime, the boys would start followed by the girls after approx. 5 minutes. (For example, wave 1 boys guntime would be 8am, wave 1 girls guntime would be 8:05am----wave 2 boys guntime at 8:20am, wave 2 girls at 8:25am---etc,etc)

A new experimental course is being developed to avoid any cross-mingling of runners between waves.
