Updated 8/4/20: Due to COVID-19 safety precautions night races will only be offered for High School races. We are actively monitoring all current COVID-19 healthcare guidelines given to us by both the Shelby County Health Department and CDC to insure we provide a safe and competitive environment. We will keep teams posted as the guidelines are revised and how the meet will be impacted. Please keep in mind that our plan is in place to
mitigate transmission of COVID-19 between teams and meet staff.We are asking the Coaches and Athletic Directors to take all necessary precautions to limit the transmission of the virus among team members.

HS Teams will enter the meet. At the meet you will be permitted to put your top 7 on the start line. All remaining athletes will run in subsequent JV races. If entries permit, that number may be increased to 10.

ELIGIBILITY / DIVISIONS:
The High School Division of this meet is open to Clubs or Unattached entries as we are operating as an independent event outside the TSSAA guidelines. All High School teams will be considered clubs for this season to allow schools in the Memphis and Nashville area to compete who are under certain restrictions. See the statement below by the TSSAA regarding the independent event rule.
TSSAA cross country athletes are allowed to participate in independent events during the cross-country season. An athlete cannot be competing as a member of a school team during an independent meet and unattached runners cannot compete in a school meet.

High School Varsity Division (Gold & Purple races)
Open to all High School Athletes (grades 9,10,11,12). Limited to your top 7 athletes per team (boys and girls teams considered separate)
High School Junior Varsity Division (Gold & Purple races)
Open to all High School Athletes (grades 9,10,11,12) No entry limits. Team Scoring.
AWARDS:
Individual - Top 10 in each division will receive awards, these will be given to the team coaches and not the athletes at a later date. Team - Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams in each scored division and distributed to teams as team results are complete at a later date.

ENTRY LIMITS /TEAM SCORING:
There is a 7-runner limit per team (boys and girls separate) for the Varsity High School Division only. There are no limits to the number of entrants per team for all other races. Team Scoring will follow standard scoring format. Top 5 runners score with team tie breakers taken to runner 6.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
All entries must be made online at the link below by midnight Saturday, September 19. No exceptions. No Refunds.
Fee Schedule:
Fees will not be collected until we have confirmed your entry into the meet.
If your team is a member of MYA then your meet dues are covered in those fees so disregard the information below.
Varsity Division, $10/athlete, $75/team. Boys and girls pay as separate teams.
Up to 7 entries per team
JV Division, $50/team. Boys and girls pay as separate teams. Up to 15 entries per team covered by the $50. *$3.00 for each additional team member above the first 15 JV entries.
