NASHVILLE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020

Day 1: Tuesday (April 21) -Girls Running Event Preliminaries and Boys Field Event Finals @ 4:30 p.m.

Day 2: Wednesday (April 22) -Boys Running Event Preliminaries and Girls Field Event Finals @ 4:30 p.m.

Day 3: Friday (April 24) -Boys & Girls Running Event Finals @ 5:30 p.m

*There are NO preliminary races for the following events: 3200 & 4x800 relay. These races go straight to finals on Friday

Entry Fee & Registration Details

-All entries MUST be made online at TN Milesplit.

-Each school may enter (2) athletes per event and (1) relay team for each relay.

-Athletes may be entered in a total of four events. (This includes, field, running & relays)

-Entry Fee is $50 per girl team or boy team or $100 per school (boys & girls teams both participating).

-Entry Fee checks need to be made payable to Harpeth Hall School and received by Friday, April 26th.

*Important-After all entries have been made please print a hard copy of entries for your records!

Running Events:

-Athletes are required to report to the Clerk of Course on first call.

-Athletes who have not reported by 3rd call will be scratched.

-Top 8 overall times will advance to finals on Friday.

Field Events:

-Athletes will be allowed four throws in the shot and discus and four jumps in the long jump and triple jump.

-Depending on the number of participants, minimum field event standards may be enforced (for instance, an attempt will need to meet or exceed a predetermined standard to be measured).

*Athletes in multiple field events must check in to all events before they start.

-There will be no substitutions in the field events.

Relay Entries:

-Relay cards must be completed with all six entries and turned in to the clerk by first call for each relay.

-Any four of the six athletes listed on the card may run in the preliminaries and the finals if they have not exceeded their maximum number of events.

-Coaches should have these cards ready for athletes to present to the Clerk.

*All 4x800 relays will go straight to finals on Friday night. (Your 4x800 relay cards will still be collected on Tuesday for the girls and Wednesday for the boys)

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. Eight places awarded medals. T-shirts awarded to all event winners.

-Medals will awarded to 2nd through 8th place finishers.

-Team awards for first and second place.

-MVP award for the most valuable female and male athlete of the meet.
