The Crossville Noon Rotary Scholarship 5K run and one-mile fun run/walk presented by Hughes Real Estate Services will be Saturday, April 14, beginning at 9 a.m.

Registration, race (start and finish) and post-race activities are at Stone Memorial High School.

The pre-registration fee is $15 and the late and day-of-race registration is $20. Pre-registration forms must be postmarked by April 4. Race day registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. All proceeds go to the Rotary Scholarship Fund.

First-quality, pigment-dyed, 100 percent cotton short-sleeve shirt with original design will go to pre-registered runners and walkers on race day. Late and day-of-race registrants will receive a shirt to be picked up at a later date.

Chip timing will be provided by Total Race Solutions.

The 5K route is a rolling course on Cook Rd. from SMHS to Stone Elementary and back. The one-mile fun run/walk is from the high school to Roane State Community College and back. There will be chip timing for both events.

The awards ceremony will take place following the 5K race. Awards will go to the top three overall male/female, first masters (40+), first grand masters (50+), first veterans (60+), male and female.

Awards will be three-deep to males and females in 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79 and 80-plus. Overall winners not eligible for age division awards.

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome in the one-mile fun-run/walk. Awards only go to participants 13 and under. The top overall male and female finisher will be recognized. Awards are five deep for males and females in ages six and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-13. Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards.
