Jamboree Meet hosted by Harding Academy

A great event to get a first look at your athletes in a competitive environment.

1. MEET LOCATION 1100 Cherry Road, Memphis, TN 38117
2. TIME Field events start at 12:00pm, running events start at 2:00pm.
3. TEAMS All Shelby 7/8 teams are invited.
4. PARKING The best parking is on the east side of campus in front of Ellers and Sisson gym. Walk west to the stadium. There is additional parking on the hilltop between the high school and the old mansion. Walk south to the stadium.
5. TEAM STAGING Team tents area is along the west side of the stadium outside of the track. No tents on the football field.
6. FORMAT This is a jamboree meet. A contestant shall not be entered in more than four events. Four participants per event. You may enter an A and B relay team.
7. SCORING no score will be kept
8. MEET RESULTS Times will be emailed out ASAP after the meet concludes.
9. ENTRIES Registration is on TN Runner. Name of the meet is: Shelby 7/8 Jamboree. Registration opens on Febuary 2 and ends at midnight on March 26.
10. EVENT CHECK IN Field events will check in at the event location. Running events will check in at the starting line at third call. Coaches tell the athletes their heat & lane assignment before checking in. On relays, report to the zone.
11. SPECTATOR ADMISSION FEE Admission is free.
12. COACHES MEETING Coaches meeting will be at the starting line at 11:30 pm.
13. JUDGING / TIMING Volunteers will serve as judges. We will use FAT system for timing.
14. ATHLETIC TRAINER An athletic trainer will be available to all participants.
15. DRESSING FACILITIES there are no dressing facilties available.
16. RESTROOMS Restrooms are located on the southside of the pressbox.
17. CONCESSION STAND a concession stand where food and drink can be purchased is available for athletes and spectators.
