Firecracker 4 Miler 2006

The Firecracker 4 Miler Road Race will again kick off the Rogersville 4th of July Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, at 7:30am. This can be the largest road race ever in Hawkins County! The race has been designated as the 4 Mile Tennessee State Championship by the Road Runners Club of America. RRCA State Champion awards will be presented for the top overall, top master & top grandmaster, male & female. Attached is the race application. If you or anyone you know would be interested in participating, please send them the application. This race is for all ages & abilities. We expect to have participants under age 10 & over age 75. We need participants, volunteers and sponsors. We also need gift certificates, etc. for prize drawings during the poolside awards ceremony. The pool will be open for race participants & family only. There will be a $400 bonus for breaking the overall Tennessee state record. There also is at least $650 in prize money for the overall top 3, top master & top grandmaster, male & female. We will have great shirts, awards & refreshments.
