THE 16th ANNUAL KENWOOD CLASSIC
Kenwood High School Saturday, April 27, 2013
EVENTS: The events will be conducted according to the TSSAA rules and regulations, meaning that an athlete can complete in up to 4 total events. The following sequence of events will be contested and scored: 3200, SP, DT, PV, HJ, LJ, TJ, 100/110 HH, 4 x 100, 4 x800, 100m, 1600m, 4 x 200, 400m, 300 IH, 800m, 200m, 4 x 400.
ENTRIES: Each team will be limited to three entries in any open event and one entry per relay event. To assure entry into meet, all entries must be received by Tuesday, April 23rd. All entries must be made online via http://tn.milesplit.us/. All substitutions and adjustments will take place at the scratch meeting.
AWARDS: The TOP 8 finishers in each event will receive medals, while the 1st and 2nd place boys and girls teams will receive team trophies.
FEES: The entry fee for each school (boys and girls combined) is $100.00 or $50.00 per team. Entry fee deadline is Monday, April 22nd. Admission for all guests will be $5.00.
EVENT ORDER: Starting time for the meet will be 9:00 a.m. A detailed meet schedule will be given at the coaches meeting.
FIELD EVENTS: Each school will be asked to help run a field event. Opening heights in the High Jump will be 44 (girls) and 54 (boys) and the opening heights in the pole vault will be 70 (girls) and 80 (boys). All other competitors will receive 4 throws or jumps.
MISC: Concessions will be available at the meet. Coaches will receive a meal pass for assisting with the meet.
RESULTS: Results will be sent to Tennessee runner at http://tn.milesplit.us/. They will also be forwarded to The Leaf Chronicle and Tennessean.
