Pink Ribbon 5k
Sunday afternoon, 3:00pm, October 2, 2005
Start/Finish at new location - Memorial Park, Ft. Henry Drive (across
from Dobyns-Bennett High School).

This is a Run/Walk to benefit local breast cancer awareness/services.
Fast course! See attached course map.
Plenty of food, music, and fun before and after the race. We had many
walkers last year so don\'t be intimidated if you are not a runner.
Important note: If you cannot run or walk you can still support the
cause by simply registering for the event (see fees). All registrants
receive the Pink Ribbon 5k t-shirt. Last year, we got t-shirts in B-280
for those that registered early and everyone wore their shirts on Friday
before the race. We\'ll do that again this year, so if you work in 280
and want to get your shirt early, please let me know. If you work in a
different building but want to work out a similar arrangement, let me
know and we\'ll work it out.
Two Divisions - competitive and non-competitive. We recognize that many
people are not interested in their time, or competing for awards, and
just want to enjoy the event and support the cause... thus the
\"non-competitive\" division. Everyone will run/walk in the same race,
the only difference is that those signing up for the non-competitive
division will not be required to wear a race number and will not receive
an official time (but you can see your time on the clock when you
finish).
Entry Fees -
* Early Bird (by 9/16 this Friday) - $12 competitive, $10
non-competitive
* After 9/16 thru race day (Oct 2) - $15 competitive, $13
non-competitive
