The University of Memphis Summer Track and Field Camp
Throws Specialty Camp 2012
DATES: June 18th 21st
TIME: 9:00AM 12:00PM
LOCATION: University of Memphis South Campus, Bill J Murphy Track Complex
COST: $200 per athlete ($150 for each additional athlete in the same family)
$50 per coach. For a fee of $50, any coach interested in learning more about the throwing events is welcome to attend the camp. You will be able to observe the throwing sessions by the athletes and learn techniques from the Memphis throws coach, Kevin Robinson.
PARTICIPANTS: Boys and Girls in Grades 6-12
EVENTS: Shot Put Discus Javelin Hammer Throw
*Participants will also receive instruction in general conditioning for throwers in addition to introductory resistance training exercises.
DEADLINE: Registration must be received by Wednesday June 13th

RULES: Athletes are required to bring their own shot put and discus. Javelins and hammers will be provided at the camp. We can store implements in our locked shed throughout the duration of the camp.
