Six Place in Top 10 at Indiana Relays
Day Two Results
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Nettie Halcomb placed fifth in the women's Mile Run Invitational and Tim Clark took sixth in the men's Mile Run Open Saturday at the Indiana Relays at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
Halcomb ran the event in 5:01.67, two seconds off her Southern Confernce leading time. She was five seconds out of first.
Clark finished sixth in the men's open Mile Run with a time of 4:18.66, six seconds off the league-leading time of 4:12.77 held by teammate Michael Mentz.
In the women's 3000-meter open race, Katie Williams placed seventh in the finals in a time of 10:20.15 and Emily Woods ran the 600-meter race in a time of 1:39.05 to finish eighth.
In the men's events, Michael Denahy placed eighth in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:22.88 while Brandon Golder took 12th in the long jump finals leaping 6.67 meters.
The men's 4x800 meter relay team of Denahy, Clark, Michael Billingsly and Ryan Crews placed ninth at 8:00.91.
Both teams will be back in action next Saturday at the Middle Tennessee Valentine's Invitational at the Murphy Center.
