About Our Team
2011 Cross Country Review:
Sparta is once again a very young team. Expected standouts this year are Senior Alex Stover and Junior's Morgan Voyles and Hunter McCoy. The newest member to the team that has already begun to show promise is Freshman Nikole pryor. With only 10 girls and 4 boys this year we are small but mighty!

Well, the Cookeville Jamboree is over and you all know now what it's like to run a 5K. It takes alot of hard work and dedication to be a runner as you alone, and with your teammates, have to do the work to see the results. Keep running and training and you'll see the times drop over the next few weeks.

What a way to end the season for Markie Voyles. She qualified for the state meet in all 3 of her events, 3200m / 1600m / 800m. She elected to compete in only the 1600m (5:12) and 800m (2:17) in an attempt to set new PR's and she did it while finishing 5th in both events overall!

Hello to the WCHS track team 2008. It's great to see that your school has put together a new track program and that so many of you have chosen to participate. We have had the opportunity to attend some of your meets and watch you compete. Congrats to the girl's team for winning 4-29-08 at Macon County. You did a great job!! We wish you continued success as your team develops and grows in the upcoming years. Mark and Merritt Voyles
