First Ever NACA Cross Country Championship meet
Dayton, TN – Fort Bluff Camp is known for championship tournaments with many of the fall sports, but November 12th will mark the first ever NACA Cross Country Championship meet. Earlier this season the Bluff played host to the Chattanooga Cross Country League on October 4th and had a successful day of racing with over 500 athletes taking part.
The flat 5k course features grass, dirt trails, and small sections of fine gravel that will lead to fast times at the Dayton Mountain site. It could be a great way to end the season after region or state meets that leave you wanting another shot at a great performance. Footlocker and Nike Team Nationals are two weeks after the NACA Championship and would be a great way to gear up for those traditional meets that take place two days after Thanksgiving.
If you are interested in learning more about the championship please go to NACAsports.com.
Races registration is $15 per individual or $75 per team. There is lodging available at the championship site. The women’s race begins at 10:00am and the men will follow at 10:45am.
