Races to Watch: KIL Championships

Girls 800 Meter Run

Another big distance event will feature two of the top female mid-distance runners in Tennessee.

Ellie Bachmann is the TN No. 1 for 800 meters so far this season. Her teammate Kensi Gray is the third-fastest 800 meter runner in the state. They'll both race on Tuesday night.

West High School's Hannah Burkhart is the only other runner under 2:20 so far this season. There's a good chance that Ellie Wolski could join that club with a good race. That field will be fast. So expect some personal bests in that event.

And of course, Story is entered in this event too. We'll see how well she's able to come back from the 1600 earlier in the meet and the 3200 looming later in the night.
