Track teams have a big day at VMI!
4 firsts, 8 seconds, 12 school records plus 4 more National qualifying events!!!
The men and women had strong performances at the VMI Winter Invitational track meet on Saturday. In addition to previous qualifiers, Michael Bunche, Josh Cloyd, Brandon Gray and Judy Johnson added more events to King\'s representation at the Indoor Nationals. For the men the team added the 55m dash, Long Jump and 400m dash to the entry list. Judy achieved her qualifying mark in the 55m dash as well.
School records were achieved during the day long competition by: Michael Bunche (55m), Brandon Gray (400m), Josh Cloyd (800m and Long jump), Joseph Pair (Mile and 3000m), Derek Nave (Weight throw), Judy Johnson (55m), Maggie Lester (Mile), Molly Burrows (55m Hurdles), Anna Waldbart (Pole vault) and Tessa Garrett (Shot put).
Cloyd, Gray, Marcus Lomans and the men\'s 4x400 relay team finished first over all in their events.
