Metro Knoxville XC Coaches will host a Distance Clinic featuring Jack Daniels, Phd, who was named the world's greatest running coach by Runners World magazine and NCAA DIII Coach of the Century for his work at Cortland State in New York. He is now distance coach for University of Northern Arizona's Altitude Research Program and is author of Daniel's Running Formula.

Metro Knoxville XC is a high school coaches association of teams in Knox and surrounding counties including Alcoa, Anderson County, Bearden, Campbell County, Carter, Catholic, Central, Christian Academy, Clinton, Cumberland Gap, Farragut, Fulton, Gibbs, Halls, Hardin Valley, Heritage, Karns, Lenoir City, Loudon County, Maryville, Oak Ridge, Oliver Springs, Oneida, Powell, Roane County, Scott County, Sevier County, Seymour, South-Doyle, Stone Memorial, Sunbright, Union County, Webb, West, and William Blount. Our goal is hold high quality meets for athletes and educational and leadership opportunities for coaches.
