CHS Girls and Boys posted 39 PR's during the IMAC Conference Championship.
Boys finished 3rd of 8 teams and the Girls finished 4th of 8 Teams.

Evan McCracken, (9th grade) who recently broke a 15 year old discus record at CHS, also broke the school's shot put record on 4-16-12. The previous record was held by Chris West from 2004 with 50-11.
McCracken tossed 51-6 at the Tri-County track meet held at Volunteer High School.

Boy's Team won a 5 way meet @ Volunteer High School on 3-27-12, while the girl's team took 3rd.

Evan McCracken, 9th Grade, broke the Cherokee High Discus Record on 3-27-12. This record had been held since 1997 by Chad Laster, who is now a track coach with Cherokee. Evan's throw of 145'1 bested the record of 143'7. Watch for Evan to improve not only in discus but also in the shotput as well.
