The 39th Annual Trailblazer Cross-Country Invitational will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 on the campus of Daniel Boone High School and Crossroads Christian Church. In addition the Trailblazer will serve as the Tri-Cities Region qualifying meet for the Tennessee Middle School Championships to be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011. See detail on page two of this flyer.

Time Schedule

Elementary Race 1.45 miles 9:30 am Unlimited
(Grades 3-4-5 with boys and girls combined)
Middle School Boys 1.95 miles 10:00 am Unlimited
Middle School Girls 1.95 miles 10:30 am Unlimited
HS Varsity Boys 5000 meters 11:05 am Top 7 Only
HS Varsity Girls 5000 meters 11:40 am Top 7 Only
HS Junior Varsity Boys 5000 meters 12:15 pm Unlimited
HS Junior Varsity Girls 5000 meters 12:50 pm Unlimited
Awards Ceremony 1:30 pm approx
(We are planning on having a middle school ceremony after those races.)

Entry Fees: High School - $60 per school ($35 per team)
Middle School - $45 per school ($25 per team)
Individual Runners - $8.00 per runner until max reached
(Schools that have both high school and middle school teams must pay as
separate schools-teams.)

Awards: Medals/ribbons to the top 50 each high school and middle school division. Special Memorial Trophies to Individual Winner of the Varsity Races, Team Awards in all divisions.

Entries: Entries will be online at www.coacho.com. Go to the calendar page of Coach O and find the Trailblazer meet and proceed from there. Please include first and last name and grade. You will have to indicate whether the runner is high school, middle school, or elementary. You will not need to specify whether a HS runner is varsity of junior varsity. If you have 8th graders that are eligible to run in a HS race then they must be entered in the HS race. Online entry will go active by September 26, 2011.
