Blogs (via blogs.commercialappeal.com) Arlington High School announced the signing of Alden Dixon to a National Letter of Intent for cross country and track at Middle Tennessee State University. Dixon is the Class AAA defending state champion in the 3200 meter run (9:19), and the region runner-up in the 1600 meter run with a personal best time of 4:16. He has also been the regional champion and The Commercial Appeal's Pepsi Best of the Preps finalist in cross country.
