Spooktacular Round-Up 2024

Jellico, TN

Meet Information

On Friday, Nov. 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., the Jellico High School Cross Country team needs your help rounding up the ghosts and goblins left over from Halloween at Indian Mountain State Park.  You can assist the team by participating in a  family friendly 2-Mile fun walk/run.  The cost is $10/participant, and the proceeds will benefit the Jellico High School Cross Country team who will be competing at the State level this year.  Starting at 5:00 p.m., there will be concessions and face painting available for a fee to help fuel your adventure against the ghouls, goblins, and zombies you may encounter along the trail.  Feel free to wear your Halloween costume, as it may help scare the goblins away!  Remember, this is family friendly, so please keep your costumes appropriate.  The round-up will start at 6:00 p.m., but face painting and concessions will be available beforehand.  Registration for runners will start at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 5:45 p.m.  All walker/runners MUST come by the registration table to receive their participation bracelet.  Participants will not be allowed to proceed without one.

Run/walkers can pre-register for the event on tn.milesplit.com under the "Calendar" tab.  Checks and cash can be mailed in advance to Jellico HIgh School, Attn: Cross Country.  Payment must be received by October 30 for run/walkers to receive credit towards their registration, however.  Race fees can be paid at the registration table the day of the event as well.  Please bring exact change, if possible.

During the fun walk/run, the front entrance of the park will be closed for runners crossing the road, so plan your parking accordingly.  The event will remain accessible from the back entrance to the park.  Parking will be available throughout the park in marked parking lots, off Rabbit Road, in the former pool parking lot, and at the softball and baseball fields.  Please, come support our team as they head to the State competition for the first time in years!  Contact Jennifer Seals, Jellico Cross Country Coach, at jennifer.seals@ccpstn.net if you have any questions.
