REGISTRATION AND FEES
There will be a $60 registration fee per school. Due to a smaller starting area, this meet will be limited to 12 schools. Once 12 teams have registered, entries will be closed and coaches will be sent a password for any entry updating. Please do not register if you do not plan to attend. If you register but are a No Show, you will be billed for registration. Cash or a check made out to GHS Shoestring Boosters may be brought the day of the meet.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Races will be run on the Holston Home 5K Course. There have been some changes to the course this year. Please come early to review the changes. FAT timing will be provided.
We will start the boys race at 6:00 PM followed by the girls race.
ENTRIES NEED TO BE MADE BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 13, 2023 AT 7:00 PM.
TENTS AND SPECTATOR AREAS
Tents MAY NOT be placed in the starting area. Tents are to be placed in a designated area near the start/finish area and parking area or across the bridge only. Great spectator areas will be available on the hill across the bridge and along Summer Street near the Start. Please stay off of the course and away from the finish area.
ONSITE PARKING
Parking on the Holston Home Main Campus is prohibited.
We have a new parking area this year on the Summer Street side of the course. Parking will be limited on Holston Home Property and will be Near 403 Holston Drive.
Parking at local businesses is NOT recommended. Vehicles may be towed at owner expense by the businesses if their parking is blocked.
SPECTATOR DONATIONS
A $2.00 per person (Walk-ins) or $5.00 per car donation (Onsite Parking) will be requested. This will be on the honor system. Donation containers will be located near entrance areas and the starting area. These funds contribute to restroom facilities, grass cutting, course marking and timing. Please encourage all patrons to contribute.
