Meet Information
If you're looking for a great way to kick off your cross-country season, the Updog Opener at Sanders Ferry Park is the race for you!
Due to the expected heat at this time of the year and to better help athletes ease into the racing season, we will use our old middle school course, which is about 1.65 miles long. Based on past data, an athlete can expect to run the 1.65-mile course in about 1/2 of their 5k time.
To cover the cost of medical staff, the meet fee will be $25 per team or $10 per individual. We will also ask for a $5 parking donation per vehicle and have t-shirts and concessions for sale.
Checks are to be made out to Beech Cross Country and can be brought on the day of the meet. Because there is a "Jamboree" event, we will not post results. However, we will upload a time-stamped finish line video onto YouTube after the event.
6:10 pm: Middle School Girls
6:30 pm: Middle School Boys
7:00 pm: Combined High School
The race will be held at Sanders Ferry Park, which is located at 513 Sanders Road in Hendersonville.
