      if you are one of those who already type up the results and send them into us. First of all, THANK YOU. But if you are one of the many who will type them into Excel or Word or some other program... please consider using RaceTab to type them in instead. You're already doing all the work. Use RaceTab and it will format it prettier, add the team scores up, and make it easy for you to send it to me in the format that I need to add in ALL of the athlete's performances.

   Congratulations Middle School runners for qualifying for the 2009 Tennessee Middle School State Cross Country Championships.  You have had a great season and this championship is the icing on the cake.  We are also pleased to see so many Elementary School participants as well -- your willingness to start early will certainly have you coming back to this meet as a Middle School participant.  Please take the time to read this email in detail -- It will save you time and questions later.

  The title of Erich Maria Remarque’s great novel about World War I, Im Westen Nichts Neues,  known in English as, All Quiet on the Western Front, would suffice as a current situation report  from the western end of the State.  So it is now, just 3 days away from West Tennessee Middle  School Cross Country Regional Championship (WTMSXCRC).  Here, in the western end of  the state, there is nothing new.  Other than the persistent sound of raindrops arriving at the  surface, it is very quiet around here.   

Feeder Programs Equal Future Success Aug 28, 2009

  What do most successful Tennessee high school programs have in common?  Obviously a committed and passionate coach would be at the top of the list.  Following closely would be what type of middle school student-athletes are heading their way.  The top schools in the state have quality communication and work closely with their feeder programs to ensure future championships.
