Heritage 5-Star Stride: NGXCL Meet #1 2019

Ringgold, GA

Meet Information

Welcome to the official meet page for the Heritage 5-Star Stride (North Georgia Cross-Country League - Meet #1). All *eligible GA and TN teams are invited to register for the race, which will be held on September 7th, 2019 on the Heritage High School campus.

*Please be aware that, per GHSA regulations, no unaffiliated teams will be allowed to register for league races. Schools must be members of the GHSA, GISA, TSSAA. or an equivalent organization in order to participate.

Race Location: 3960 Poplar Springs Rd., Ringgold, GA 30736

Course: The XC course at Heritage High School is extremely spectator-friendly. Parents and coaches can see their runners at least five times throughout the race, with little to no walking. Mile and meter markers are provided and coaches timing areas are easily accessible and within walking distance of one another. The well-maintained, two-loop course incorporates mostly natural running surfaces, with two road crossings. A brick starting line, three hills (of varying intensity), two wooded areas, and creek views make for a very dynamic and enjoyable course. A lot of time, effort, and expense went into the design and construction of the course, and we've received nothing but positive feedback.

CHIP TIMING will be provided by Carpet Capital Running Club (Dalton, GA)
