The 2019 Rotary Relays will be a two day event. The first day will be April 30. On the first day, all fields events, the 300 hurdles, the 1600 m run, and the 3200 m run will be completed. These will be spread out, so anyone running in the 1600 m and 3200 m should be able to compete in both events. The second day for the Rotary Relays will be Thursday, May 2. On the second day, all remaining running events will be completed. May 1 and May 3 will be used in the event of rain.
The entry fee of this event is $100 per school ($50 for any school that only has a girls or boys team). Please make checks payable to Union City High School.
The coaches meeting will be at 3:30 PM in the Purple and Gold room of the football field house. All entries must be entered online by the closing date. Times will be recorded using a FinishLynx camera and HyTek software. Back up times will be recorded manually.
Three entries are allowed per event. One relay team is allowed per relay. An alternate must be entered on Milesplit.com in order for a substitution to occur in a relay race.
Events will start at 4:00 PM.
The standard point system will be used for the top 8 places in each event. Awards will be given to the first three places in each event. Trophies will be awarded for the three teams with the highest value of total points. The standard order for track meet events will be used.
