7:30-8:15 Course Open

8:30 Girls Varsity 5k (8 Runners)

9:15 Boys Varsity 5k (8 Runners)

10:00 JV Combined 5k (Unlimited)

10:45 Elementary (through 6th grade) 800 Meters

11:00 Varsity Awards

11:15 Middle School Girls 1.5 Miles

11:45 Middle School Boys 1.5 Miles

Since this is an early season race, teams may run 8 runners in the varsity race to help coaches determine varsity spots.



Timing and Scoring:This years race will be timed using Chip technology.Trojan Timing will be timing as in the past, and has invested in the most up to date chip timing technology. The most important part about adding this technology is to ensure that every athlete is wearing there assigned chips and that those chips are returned following each race.


Chip Return- Trojan Timing will have 2 places to return chips. You can return chips at registration for any athlete that will not be participating. All participating athletes will be required to return chips prior to leaving the finish area. A $10 return chip fee will be assessed to the participating team for every chip not returned. Returning chips is the responsibility of the head coach of each team.





Awards

For the middle School races medals will be given to places 1 through 10 and ribbons will be awarded for finishers 11- 20. 1st and 2nd team plaques will be awarded to the two top teams.

For the JV races medals will be given to places 1 through 5. The 1st place team will be awarded a team plaque.

For the Varsity races medals will be given to places 1 through 15. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team plaques will be awarded to the three top teams.

The Entry Fee is $35 per team or $70 per school. Individual runners not making up a scoring team(5 or more) are $5 for each event.
