THE 9TH ANNUAL GEORGE HANCOCK
MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL

Thursday April 17th, 2014 3:30 pm
Entry Fee: $100 (both teams) $60 (1 team)
Events: The events will be conducted according to the TSSAA rules and regulations, (one athlete can compete in up to 4 total events). The following events will be contested and scored:
SP, DT, HJ, LJ, TJ, 3200 meter relay 100 M hurdles, 100 meter dash, 800 meter relay, 1600 meter run, 400 M relay, 400 meter dash, 300 M hurdles, 800 M run, 200 M dash, , 3200 meter run, 1600 meter relay.
Entries: Each team will be limited to 2 entries in any open event and 1 entry per relay event. To assure entry into the meet, ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY APRIL 13TH AT 3:00 PM!!! Entries may be faxed (731)286-3632 or emailed to: abeckley@k12tn.net. Substitutions will NOT be made the day of the meet. You may replace a runner under the original name you turn in, and there will be no additions the day of the meet, so please enter someone in all events you wish to participate. We will be using the finishlynx timing system, so please send me your roster in advance so I can enter all athletes into the computer in advance to seeding.
Awards: The top 3 teams will receive trophies, as well as the 1st place relay team in each event. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in all events.
Event Order: Starting time for the meet is 3:30 pm for field events. We will run the 3200 meter relay at approximately 5:00 pm, but no other running events will begin until the remaining field events are finished. Coaches meeting will be held at 3:00 pm.
Misc.: Concessions will be available.
