Florida's own Justin Gatlin set the new world record today in the 100 meters at the Qatar Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar. Gatlin's mark of 9.76 breaks the mark of Asafa Powell who ran a 9.77 last year.
"It is amazing I did it. It took a lot of discipline and dedication," Gatlin said. "You will see many more performances like this from me in the future."
