CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University women's track and field team will host its second outdoor event of the season, Saturday. The APSU Invite will begin at nine a.m., with the hammer throw leading off the field events. Track events will start at 10 a.m. in Governors Stadium with the steeplechase.

After a strong outing at the Alabama Relays, the Lady Govs look to continue their success at home. Senior Amanda McCoy has paced the Lady Govs in the early parts of the outdoor season and will need for that to continue. Junior Chiamaka Obi will be counted on to shore up the sprinters and hurdlers, while freshman long jumper Leigha Tolliver and senior pole vaulter Molly Bartkiewicz will need to continue their strong performances.
