TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -Austin Peay State University women's track and field team wrapped up competition, Sunday, with relay action at the 2010 Alabama Relays, held at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Complex in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The Lady Govs team of Leigha Tolliver, Latoya Monger, Ashley Carson and Amanda McCoy recorded a fifth-place finish in the 4 x 100-meter shuttle hurdles with a 59.68 time.
The Lady Govs' other top-10 finish came in the 4 x 100-meter relay where the team of Candace Cullors, Jasmin Scott, Amanda McCoy and Leigha Tolliver finished 10th with a 48.61 time.
APSU's 1600-meter distance medley relay team was disqualified for a zone infraction.
The Lady Govs will return to action Saturday when they play host to the APSU Invitational in Governors Stadium.
