Brentwood had won 5 Southern Showcase Titles in a row but opted to wait until the ON Twilight meet to run in Huntsville this year. A Middle Tennessee team still took the title home as Summit won the Girls Championship title with Sienna Anderson winning and Lorelai Whitten placing in the Top 10. They were unranked in the Preseason.
Girls Team Rankings: September 19th Update
By this point, every team in Tennessee has debuted. Voters provided with the preseason top ten plus the next best five teams from our composite rankings and were asked to rank the top ten in order. Teams were awarded points based on votes then divided by the number of voters to provide a rating index. Much like the BCS Rankings from college football, 1.000 would be considered a perfect team rating meaning every voter ranked your team number one. Here are the rankings based off those results.
