Daniel Boone's Bryson Lewis placed 22nd overall in the Division I AAA state championship and for the first time this season, was the first Trailblazer to cross the finish line. Had a rash of injuries not plagued the squad this season, you may be looking at a different outcome in the team category. It will be interesting to see how well they can regroup before track. With an almost guaranteed 20 points from Eli Penix, a state championship is not beyond their reach with their depth at distance. Looking even further ahead to 2022, they'll return five juniors from Thursday's squad that placed 9th.
