Week 4 Highlights: Cheeseman, Cherokee, Chickasaw

Other Notes from the State

Knights Crossing

Conner Wingfield narrowly missed notching his second 5k victory of the season in Salem, Virginia on Saturday but did secure a TN #1 15:13 in the process. Teammate Levi Streeval placed 3rd and overall the boys team took first.

On the girl's side, Autumn Headrick placed 3rd overall with an 18:34 which is also what the Dobyns Bennett Girls placed as a team.

Chickasaw

Brentwood girls continue their title defense tour with a convincing victory in Alabama. The team posted an 18:48 average with a 45 second spread 1-5. Lydia Cromwell was first across the line for the Bruins as they put all runners in the top 15, three of them being freshmen.

Central Magnet's Samantha Ouellette was the first Tennesseean across the line with a 3rd place finish with a time of 18:10.

Brentwood and Beech boys placed 2nd and 3rd respectively with only 10 points separating the two teams.

Mason Invite

Siegel traveled to Ohio this week where Kyra Hayes notched her second victory of the season with a time of 18:10. In my opinion, she may have the highest floor of any runner in AAA but it's hard to gauge what her ceiling is.

On the boys side, Caleb Jarrett was first across the line for the Stars in 16:07 with Brennan Thomas placing ten spots behind with a 16:30.

Gulf Coast Stampede

The Bartlett boys team went to the Florida Panhandle this weekend where Landen McNair gapped the field by 33 seconds on his way to a 16:04 and a victory. Bartlett put three in the top four and won the team title with a point total of 35.
