No Time Off

Less than a week after the scholastic track season ends, my timeline started being filled with tweets like this: 

If you're in a program that has coaches that have established summer training plans and have established practice multiple times per week like the one above this article is no concern to you and you can stop reading now. 

But if you're at say a rural school that can hardly field 5 runners to score as a team, not sure who your coach will be next fall, and don't have a plan for the summer then proceed to the next page.
