Coming up on 11/21: The Nashville PR 3200

It's that time of year again to turn your cross country fitness into a shiny new 3200m PR! Join us on Brentwood Academy's cozy athletic facility and lightning-fast track on Saturday, November 21st from 12:30-2:30 pm for the 9th Annual Post-Season Event: The NASHVILLE PR 3200!

We've reserved November 21st to support the Knoxville (11/13) and Memphis (11/14) post-season track events, giving athletes at least two opportunities at a fast 3200m race in back-to-back weekends.

Coming off cross country racing season, this event has traditionally had 60-70% of athletes record their best-ever 3200m PR. All sections of the 3200 races will be paced for the first 4-6 laps, making fast times the priority for everyone.

All proceeds for this event will go to The Nashville Food Project - a non-profit organization with a mission to bring people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food and to cultivate community while alleviating hunger in our city.

There will also be 1600m races for middle-schoolers. Awards will be 10-deep for the Middle School 1600m events and 20-deep for the High School 3200m events.

Due to covid protocols, we can only accept the first 200 registrants, so register while you can, to secure your spot for the NASHVILLE PR 3200. Click here for more information and to register. Entry Deadline is Sunday, 11/15 @ 11:00 PM but again, only the first 200 registrants will be accepted.

Please email Diana McLaughlin @ nashvillepr3200@gmail.com with any other questions, and we hope to see you on Saturday, November 21st for fast racing in cool weather on a fast track.
