"The men ran good," said head coach Doug Molnar. "We really just need somebody to step up and round out our top-five runners."

On the women's side, sophomore Janelle Avery finished 25th, leading the Lady Govs to the finish with a 19:43.61 mark. Senior Shamai Larsen (87th, 21:01.39) and freshman Alyssa Molnar (113th, 21:26.09) had solid outing for the Lady Govs as well.

"All six ladies had season bests," said Molnar. "Our top five were all under 22 minutes for the first time this season, which is tremendous. We're getting better each week, which will put us where we need to be at championship time."
