We're going to be hearing a lot about Kaiya Wynn and Eriyanna Reed over the next couple of years.
This time last year, they put together one of the best 400 meter races of the season LIVE on MileSplit.
And the times were awfully quick.
Ensworth sophomore Kaiya Wynn took the win with a time that was the state-best for the end of April. She crossed the finish line in 55.98. That ended up being the fourth-fastest time in the state by the time the season ended.
Reed, just a freshman at the time at Hillsboro High School, wasn't far behind. She clocked in at 56.13. That ended up being the fifth-fastest time in the state when the season ended.
