It was wet.
It was windy.
And quite cold.
But we still saw a great 800 last year at Tom Black Track in Knoxville.
Without the COVID-19 pandemic, we would be preparing you for the 2020 Volunteer Track Classic at UT this weekend.
Instead, we have to simply relive last year's meet.
The boys 800 meter run was one of the best races of the day.
Gabe Robinson ran a quick final 200 meters to take the win against the wind in 1:58.45. Henry Griffin was second just under two minutes.
The times weren't blazing fast for some of these guys. But this is what racing is all about, right? Even in rough conditions...these guys delivered quite a finish.
