"Due to the success of the Dash for Doobie we are excited to expand the scholarships offered.  We are now able to give two scholarships to Reagan HS seniors each year in Nicholas Doub's memory.  This wouldn't be possible without the great support we get each year.  After last year's Dash for Doobie I met with Nick's family.  They expressed an interest to give back to the runners that have helped this event become such a success.  So this year we will give out two $500 scholarships (1 senior boy and 1 senior girl) on Nov. 23rd to New Balance Dash for Doobie participants.  Any senior who is planning to enroll in post secondary schooling and participates in the the Dash for Doobie is eligible.  Information and an application can be found on the meet page." - Coach Eric Fritz, Meet Director

The Dash for Doobie had an historic year with a record setting 87 boys under 10 minutes and 75 girls under 12 minutes.

The top 2 boys Daniel O'Brien and Colin Baker and top girl Jenna Hutchins last year went on to qualify for Foot Locker Nationals one week after competing here last year proving it is a great tune up for Foot Locker South and Nike Cross Nationals.

The event will be broadcasted live on MileSplit and we will have photos, archived race videos and interviews from the event posted at the conclusion.

Entries for the event will open on November 3rd through November 17th.  The entry fee is $20 per 3200m athlete.  Entry fees include a long sleeve Dash for Doobie T-Shirt and will fund the meet's 2 $500 scholarships as well as two that honor Nicholas Doub for Reagan High School students.
