Boys: Siegel averaged a 17:20 on Steeplechase a few months ago on a hot day at AF Bridges. Franklin averaged 17:04 there for the region meet last week. It's tough to compare, but this Rebels team is peaking at the perfect time. They're deep. But this one could absolutely go either way.

Runner-Up: Siegel High School
Girls: I think the experience on Steeplechase helps the Bruins here. Brentwood is one of the closest schools to this state course. It ran there for region as well. They have a young team, but they'll be so bunched up together. Sasha Neglia will either finish first or second barring a surprise. So DB will get some big points there. But I think the depth of Brentwood makes the difference for them.
