Anderson Leads Siegel to Second Place in Ohio

Siegel senior Canaan Anderson had a terrific race up in Ohio on Saturday.

The Stars veteran won the Mason Invitational in Mason, Ohio, pacing the field with a 15:44 time. He was the only boy to break 16 on the day as well.

That's a solid opener for Anderson, who ran a new personal best 1600 of 4:18 in an outstanding junior track season last spring. His team, ranked near the top of the Div. 1 Large Schools Classification, also placed second in a huge pack of talented teams.
