How has summer training been going?
Training has been going very well. I have enjoyed getting to do a few runs a week with my older brothers (Javan & Titus.)

What kind of workouts have you been doing?
Throughout the summer I have slowly built mileage. I have been doin various Fartleks, Tempos, and hill workouts this summer. I also did a couple of road races to see how fit I was.

What meets are you planning on attending this fall?
We are looking at possibly running Memphis Twilight, Great American, and some local meets.

What are your goals for your senior season?
I would like to break 15 minutes and win state. I would like to set some course and/or meet records.

What colleges are you considering?
At this point I am leaving my options open. I am still looking into what school will be the best fit for me. I am looking for a team that is competitive on the national level, but also one where I would be able to make an impact. Good team chemistry is really important to me too.

Do you have any official visits planned?
I am looking into taking a couple of official visits this Fall. I have made one visit this summer and have had two schools do an in-home visit.

Have you made any tentative postseason plans?
I might do a 2 mile time trial. I will most likely be running Footlocker. I hope to qualify for nationals again this year. I really enjoyed the trip out to San Diego last year.
