The Vol Classic is going to be a good one.
And you can watch it LIVE on MileSplit Friday night and Saturday during the day.
On the girls side, the two mile is going to be fantastic. Jenna Hutchins, Landri Wilcox and Sasha Neglia are all entered. And if they all suit up, that might be the race of the weekend. You could see six or seven girls break 11 minutes in that race. Pole Vault/hurdle sensation Brittany Bishop will also feature. She'll be looking to extend her lead on the rest of the state in both of her events. And maybe even break her state record in the pole vault too.
Science Hill senior Jeb Jones leads the way in the boys mile field. He'll be looking to break 4:15 against a big field of distance runners from the area. Gabriel Robinson and Miguel Parrilla will be set for a big Division I Large Schools duel in the boys 800. They could both go 1:53 in that one.
