HEAT SHEETS: Tri-Cities Track Classic

Tri-Cities is going to be fast.

From the 100 to the steepelchase.

Some of East Tennessee's best runners will be on display on Saturday in Johnson City. And we'll get to see how our athletes match up against some of the best runners from North Carolina and Virginia.

Sasha Neglia headlines this year's meet. She'll compete in the two mile, where she set the meet record (10:41) last year. Hilltopper freshman Jenna Hutchins will lace em up on her home track as well. She's the top overall seed in the Voyles mile, which kicks off at 3:30 PM ET on Saturday.

Science Hill senior and Samford signee Jeb Jones will have a great chance to pick up a win on his home track as well. He's seeded at 4:16, 10 seconds faster than the next fastest runner, and could have a shot at one of the top two or three times in the state this season.

Anderson County senior Brittany Bishop will compete in the pole vault. She set the indoor state record in the winter, and she'll be the heavy favorite to win the meet on Saturday. You'll also see her in the 100 meter hurdles, where she has another good chance to get on the podium.

This is going to be the meet of the year in Northeast Tennessee.

You'll want to stay tuned all weekend long to Tennessee MileSplit as we update you on what's happening up at Science Hill all day Saturday. Check out the heat sheets below.
