Sasha Neglia finished off an eventful season on Saturday morning in Portland.
In her second trip to Nike Nationals, the Dobyns Bennett junior finished in 15th, running 17:29. That's the fastest time ever run by a Tennessean at NXN. It's also the second-highest finish by a Tennessee athlete at the prestigious championship.

Neglia battled a large pack at the finish. 11 athletes were crowded together, finishing just six seconds apart.
She battled the conditions and some of the best competition in America for an All-American finish.
Neglia is the first All-American from Dobyns Bennett. Last year she ran 18:14 for 24th place. Her finish is the highest since Ravenwood's Annika Sleenhof came in 19th back in 2016.
