Analysis: Story won her second straight Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association championship, finished sixth at the Foot Locker South Regional, and placed third at Foot Locker Nationals, penning a final time of 17:35.43. Her season PB on the year came at the Jesse Owens Classic, where she ran 17:12.03, but Story also finished off the year with three straight times under 18 minutes. She followed in January with a bid to join Team USA at the Bupa Great Edinburg XC International Challenge and finished 21st at the 4K distance, clocking an effort of 15:12. In the spring Story tripled at states, winning the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m, and she set a new 1-mile PR with a time of 4:45.63.
