The TACA is submitted a proposal to the Board of Control for Sports Advisory Committees in the following sports:  football, cross country, golf, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, bowling, basketball, baseball, softball, track, and tennis.

The Sports Advisory Committees would be made up of up to nine representatives selected by Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association in each sport.  The representatives would be from each of the nine athletic districts in the same manner as the Board of Control or Legislative Council.

The five fall sports would be responsible for meeting, with recommendations being brought to the Board of Control in each of these sports at the January meeting.  This would include soccer.  The three winter sports would submit their recommendations to the Board of Control at the June meeting, and the spring sports would bring their recommendations at the August meeting.

In addition to the nine members on the committee, there would be a representative from TACA (normally Bill Marbet or Jason Lovell of their staff) and a representative from TSSAA (normally the person responsible in that sport) in attendance at the meeting.
