Week one is in the books

Walker Valley Jamboree - was a lot of fun in the mud. Five teams showed up right after the rain to run. A few pictures are posted from the meet. No team scores or official times.

Panther Creek Invitational - Tom Gilmartin from Farragut took first place for the boys with a time of 17:42.08 individually and Farragut took the team title followed by Morristown West.

On the girls side Tara Gietema and Haley Moody took first and second place in 20:19 and 20:41. Morristown West girls took first as a team reversing the top two teams from the boys side.

7 mile relay - Hosted by Coach Murrell of King College, this is a very interesting meet. Each team member has to run a one mile leg of a relay. The fastest time of the day for the boys was Josh Vasquez from Dobyns Bennett with a 4:55 and the fastest girl was Allie Scalf from Science Hill running a 6:01.

Chattanooga Area XC League Kick Off Invite. - Was non-scoring as well, with around 300 runners and great weather you couldn\'t have asked for much more. This meet is ran as a region course and preseason feeler. Lots of teams looked strong but the over all winners were Jessica Duble of Chattanooga Christian School and Steve Fassino of Red Bank High School. I should have some pictures posted in the next day or so. I got wrapped up in the meet and didn\'t take as many as I would have liked to.
