With the recent passing of his best friend weighing heavily on his mind, Knoxville West star Matthew Sonnenfeldt persevered to capture the most meaningful of state titles.

With a little help from those great guys over at All Trax Timing I was able to pull all the results from hytek and enter them into RaceTab. This is just for fun but here is what a unified state meet might have looked like.

As I get more news, photos, and results I will be posting it here. 

 The State Cross Country Meet will be held at the Percy Warner Steeplechase Cross Country Course in Nashville, Tennessee. As voted by the coaches and approved by the TSSAA Board of Control, the State Cross Country Meets will be 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles). The schedule for the State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, November 1 is:

Class AAA Girls - 10:00 A.M. CDT
Class AAA Boys - 10:45 A.M. CDT
Class A-AA Girls - 11:30 A.M. CDT
Class A-AA Boys - 12:15 P.M. CDT
Division II Class AA Girls - 1:00 P.M. CDT
Division II Class AA Boys - 1:45 P.M. CDT
Division II Class A Girls - 2:30 P.M. CDT
Division II Class A Boys - 3:15 P.M. CDT
