Boys, girls cross country teams run tough at state championship Nov 3, 2014

The Oak Ridge High School boys and girls cross country teams, both coming off fantastic first-place finishes at regionals in late October, competed in the state championship 5k run in Nashville on Saturday. The boys team finished third, and the girls finished ninth. (via Oak Ridge Today)

Todd competes at chilly state meet Nov 7, 2014

On the same course as last week’s regionals, The King’s Academy’s Niamh Schumacher cut 16 seconds off her time to finish third in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association’s Division II-A girls cross country championships. “Oh man, that was incredible,” said Lions coach Jeff Ayers. “She shaved that (time) off.
